A Bergen county police officer was listed in critical condition after his car was rear-ended by a drunk driver on Route 46. The collision caused more than a six-hour delay on the busy public highway.
New Jersey community leader killed by drunk driver
A tragic accident on New Jersey Route 1 has claimed the life of a beloved New Jersey community leader. The 67-year old Princeton resident was traveling in his 2013 Lexus on Route 1 near Harrison Street. His wife was a passenger in the vehicle. His car smashed into the back end of a 2011 BMW driven by a man, also a resident of Princeton. The accident was caused by the impact of 2010 Mack Truck going northbound on Route 1. The operator of the truck rear-ended the decedent's car, which was then pushed into the BMW.
