2 indicted for a violent crime in New Jersey death

The internet and certain social media platforms have changed the way people get rid of their unused items. For example, through certain websites, people now have a way to easily advertise to a large audience -- many of whom are strangers -- that they have an item for sale. Unfortunately, police in New Jersey believe that one man's attempt to make a purchase led to a violent crime.

In fact, two men have recently been arrested for their alleged roles in the death of a 20-year-old. Police say that the victim's body was found on a bank in New Jersey on a day in late March. According to reports, his hands were tied behind his back, and he had several gunshot wounds.

Two men were recently indicted as a result of the incident. They face multiple charges, including kidnapping, murder, robbery and weapons offenses. According to police, one of the men facing charges claimed to have a PlayStation that the victim wanted to purchase. Reports claim that the individual did not have a gaming system to sell.

When an unexpected death occurs, there is an understandable need for answers. However, anyone who is suspected of being involved in a violent crime -- as well as all other crimes -- is considered not guilty unless proved otherwise. To be convicted, there must be sufficient evidence to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Unfortunately, many people in New Jersey may be unfamiliar with their options and the legal process, making it difficult for them to make informed decisions. As a result, some turn to an experienced criminal defense attorney to provide guidance throughout the process.
